New Car
My good friend Matt Ellison recently purchased a "new" vehicle. Wanting to "keep up with the Ellisons" I went on the look for a new family automobile. I finally found the perfect car. The deal hasn't gone through yet but I sure hope it does soon. So Matt wont be the only "hot dog" in town. Lame I know.
Cooling Off
The kids enjoy the break from hot weather last week at our house. The surprise snowstorm was a welcome break from the 90 degree weather we had been experiencing. Here they are with our neighbor girl.Wednesday, June 06, 2007

Big Week
Wow. What a week it was. But it is finally over and we are leaving for vacation tomorrow. Really looking forward to that.
Earlier in the week my mother was taken to the hospital with heart complications. Doctors discovered 3 blocked arteries but fortunately she did not have to undergo heart surgery. Stents were put in place and she is home now regaining her strength. We thank the Lord for his protecting hand over Mom.
Yesterday was a big day for us here at the church. It was our annual Anniversary Sunday. Rev. Harry Plank spoke in the morning and evening services and did a great job. He is always a real joy to have and to hear speak. His sense of humor yet ability to get the message across are always appreciated.
The Bruce Byler family from Michigan were here for the afternoon and evening services as well. What a talented family. Their music is superb and their spirit is refreshing. It was a real joy to finally have them with us.
Now it's time for a little rest to get ready for the busy summer that lies ahead.
